Account and data deletion
This page allows users of Vitfin, operated by SEM Consultores S.A.S., to request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to request deletion
- Send the request from the same email address registered with your Vitfin account.
- Use the subject “Vitfin account deletion”.
- Include only your registered email address. Do not send passwords, card numbers or financial documents.
- Vitfin may request reasonable identity verification before deletion to prevent third parties from deleting someone else’s account.

Data that will be deleted
Once the request has been verified and approved, the following will be deleted or anonymized, as appropriate:
- Your user account and authentication identifiers.
- Recorded income, expenses, transactions, categories and budgets.
- Debts, rates, installments, payments and payment plans.
- Goals, assets, net worth and other financial information entered by the user.
- Optional files, images or audio stored by the user, where present.
- Preferences, plan status and other data directly linked to the account.
Data that may be retained
We may retain the minimum information needed to meet legal, accounting or tax obligations; prevent fraud; resolve disputes; substantiate transactions; or respond to requests from competent authorities. Such data will be retained only for the period required or permitted by applicable law, with restricted access.
Partial deletion or correction
If you do not wish to close your account, you may request correction, updating or deletion of specific data by writing to soporte@vitfin.co. Requests will be assessed under applicable law.
